The Story

Hi, my name is Hilary, founder of THE BAR ABOVE®.

I grew up on a dairy farm in small town WI, and have a deep appreciation for pure and simple. 

I believe in using 100% biobased ingredients to make clean products in simple, traditional ways.  

In 2018 I made my first bar of soap because I felt the need for a cleaner and more honest everyday essential.

SUGAR MAMA and BALM SUNDAY® were soon to follow and now, "TBA" is a vision and product line I am both confident in and proud of.

I think of my customers and followers of THE BAR ABOVE® as family and friends.

It is both fun and fulfilling to make clean products for all of you; pure and simple.
